Cabin Bags

Our advice for packing your cabin bag

How many Cabin bags can I have?

As a general rule, all passengers, except those under the age of 2, are able to bring a cabin bag (sometimes called hand luggage) on board a plane. The dimensions of the bag vary depending on the airline. To find the specific guidelines for your airline scroll down to the bottom of the page.

On some airlines, handbags are considered cabin bags. This means you may have to choose between your handbag or cabin bag or perhaps be able to fit your handbag inside your cabin bag.

Some airlines do allow you to bring one accessory bag on board in addition to your cabin bag. This can include a little handbag or a laptop/ camera bag. For further information, contact your airline directly.

Garment bags are generally considered hand luggage and sometimes have size restrictions.

For infants (less than 2 years old), extra baggage may be granted by the airline for items such as changing bags, booster seats, pushchairs etc. To find out more information contact your airline directly.
