Often called the ‘French Seattle’, Toulouse is an important figure in aircraft engineering, which you can see on a visit to the Cité de l’Espace museum. But beyond its aeronautical success, there’s no shortage of must-sees and cool things to do in the “ville rose”.

Toulouse-Blagnac airport is 7km northwest of the city centre. The Tisseo shuttle bus service runs between the airport and Toulouse Blagnac, with a journey time of between 20 and 45 minutes (depending on traffic conditions). Make sure to select the “aéroport” ticket when buying your ticket!

      The beauty of Languedoc

When it comes to discovering the rich historical past of this beautiful Languedoc town, there’s nothing like a stroll arm in arm from the Place du Capitole to Saint-Sernin (“a coral flower that the sun waters”, bravo Nougaro!). Strolling in the maze of the pedestrianised streets, preferably in the last afternoon, and breathing in the warm Spanish air... could life get any better?
